Privacy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
The Donna Project is a private grief-support companion. We collect only the information needed to provide accounts, saved tools, uploads, payments, and support.
Information you provide
This can include your name and email, journal entries, impact-statement drafts, mood check-ins, memorial captions, photos, audio, and star-registration details.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, save your work, provide requested features, process purchases through Stripe, and send password-reset emails through Resend. We do not sell your personal writing or memorial content.
Private content
Account content and memorial uploads are intended to be private to the account that created them. Public memorial-gallery content is different: it is displayed to visitors when the account owner intentionally publishes it.
Retention and deletion
Contact support to request account or content deletion. We may retain limited records when required for fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or payment disputes.
Safety
This service is not a crisis line, medical provider, therapist, or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If you are in the United States or Canada, call or text 988 for crisis support.
Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact the project owner through the support address published on the production site.
